Background	Receptor for cholecystokinin. Mediates pancreatic growth and enzyme secretion, smooth muscle contraction of the gall bladder and stomach. This receptor mediates its action by association with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system (By similarity).
